How to use your Qimera Camera Strap

Put on your Qimera strap

1. Loop the rope pigtail through the existing attachment point on the side of the camera. Works with either bar or split ring style attachment points.


2. Hook the loop at the end of the pigtail onto the inside of the Qimera clasp.


3. Give the pigtail a gentle tug until you feel a small "click".


4. Screw down the cap to lock.


5. Repeat on the other side.


6. Go shoot something!

For split ring attachment points, make sure the pigtail is passed through the split ring and not directly through the lug on the camera body. The lug will greatly increase the wear on the pigtails.

Take off your Qimera strap

1. Screw open the cap.


2. Unhook the loop from the inside of the Qimera clasp.


3. Remove from camera attachment point.


4. Repeat on the other side.


5. Your camera is naked and ready to be put away, attached to a tripod, put into a waterproof housing etc.
